Dancing on Clouds

Looking to add that “wow” factor to your wedding, but not sure how? The solution is easy: all you have to do is dance on clouds. There are tons of extravagant and expensive options out there when it comes to topping off your ceremony and reception, but there’s nothing quite like dry ice. As odd as it sounds, it’s easily the best addition to any dance, and yet so affordable and easy to set up. And why have your first dance on a boring old dancefloor when you can quite literally dance on clouds?

Should You Have Your First Dance On Clouds?

Looking to add that “wow” factor to your wedding, but not sure how? The solution is easy: all you have to do is dance on clouds. There are tons of extravagant and expensive options out there when it comes to topping off your ceremony and reception, but there’s nothing quite like dry ice. As odd as it sounds, it’s easily the best addition to any dance, and yet so affordable and easy to set up. And why have your first dance on a boring old dancefloor when you can quite literally dance on clouds?

Our dry ice machine, or “dancing on clouds,” usually makes its appearance during your first dance and/or special dances, while flooding the otherwise barren dance floor with non-toxic, realistic looking clouds that gracefully lap against your feet. The clouds appear thick and stretch about 13-18 inches from the floor, offering a realistic, full bodied cloudlike look. To achieve this effect, our machine blends heated water and dry ice–basically carbon dioxide in its solid state– which dissipates around the dancefloor and looks simply breathtaking! Yes, it really is that easy.

A dry-Ice machine is typically black in color and small in size, so it blends in nicely. We always load the machine far in advance of the dance, and set it up on the periphery of the dancefloor. It can emit the effect for a full 3-5 minutes. What’s more, using dry ice will not set off a smoke detector–because of how low-lying it is–nor will it release any kind of unpleasant odor. In fact, most venues allow dry ice because of how clean it is–as opposed to a fog machine that might get residue on your shoes or dancefloor, dry ice won’t leave a single particle behind. Toxicity isn’t a concern either, as dry ice is completely natural. It’s safe and sleek, and there won’t be any unwanted loud noise or a giant eyesore of a machine.

Aside from adding visual excitement for guests, “dancing on clouds” allows the photographer to take some jaw-dropping, unreal photos, to which other shots would pale in comparison. The same rings even truer for videography, as you can share the hyperrealistic, cloudlike beauty of your wedding, so friends and family can see for themselves how wildly fantastical this effect really is.

This effect is great for adding a dramatic look to your wedding dance. It’s also a great option if you aren’t all too confident in your dancing. No matter what, the dry ice will impress guests so much that they won’t notice if dancing isn’t your specialty.

It’s time to make that fairytale wedding of your dreams a reality! We offer plenty of different DJ, photobooth, audio and lighting packages which you can combine with Dancing on Clouds in order to top off your special day and blow your guests out of the water.
